Halloween Costume

This month Allison helped her friend, Nicole make this great costume of Melanie Daniels from "The Birds."  They found the dress at goodwill, purchased the birds at a craft store and hot glued them to the dress.  The "peck marks" are red lipstick.  Nice job!  Great pose too:)

Rotating Display

This month Allison found a bulletin board with a box on the bottom.  She is a big St. Louis Cardinals Fan, if you couldn't tell by now:)  This is her tribute box to games she has been too.  The box is handy for her to place replicas of her tickets and other memorabilia.  The bulletin board background is an easy way for her to swap out pictures of her most recent visit to the stadium and game.

Reusable To Do List

This month Allison took an 8x10 frame and put a piece of decorative lined scrapbook paper in it. She used scrapbooking stickers to add the "To Do" title and put start bullet points down the side of the list.  This will go up by the front door of her apartment with dry erase markers to add and erase items that she needs to get done.

Valentine Day Gift Frame

For her Valentine's Day Sweetie Allison made this gift.  She found a quote she liked and cut it out on vinyl with the Silhouette.  Then she attached it to one side of the glass and put a piece of paper in the frame for an added pop of color.  For the other side she added a goofy picture of her and her Valentine.

Birthday T-shirt

This month Allison made a shirt for her co-worker Becky to wear to her birthday party.  Instead of presents or a birthday dinner Becky requested that people take the money they would have spent and donate it to http://www.americanforests.org  to plant trees in needed areas.  To make the shirt Allison used the Silhouette to cut out green and brown heat transfer.  The front of the shirt says, "It's my birthday, buy me a tree!"  And the back has the website address of the organization and their logo.

Allison printed out a list of 52 things she loves about her man and then cut them into slips of paper and attached each slip to a card.
For the front and back "cover" she covered the Jokers with scrapbook paper and used stickers to embellish the front.

Easter HTV Shirt

Allison and I also made this shirt for Allison's brother, Peter.  We used my Silhouette to cut out flocked HTV for the yellow, white, and pink peeps and smooth HTV for the "my peeps" writing.  The font we used is Smiley Monster.

Easter Baskets

Allison and I made Easter baskets this month for my children.  Allison made the one on the left and I made the 2 on the right.  They each took about a day to make.  With the help of a  pattern from here and some step by step instructions from this book, we made our first round baskets.  I stained them using a light oak stain.

Wedding Gift

It's wedding season!  Allison made this with a few girlfriends to give as a wedding gift in April.  She bought a document frame and used a Cricut to cut out the words and shapes from scrapbook paper.  Next she used a glue roller to stick everything down.  The quote is "A house is made of walls and beams, a home is made of love and dreams."
