I was rehearsing the Esmeralda variation for an August show and have been getting crafty with my ensemble! I last used my tutu for Spanish-ey Paquita which meant it had all red decorations and lace. My mom, Vicki, helped me take off all the red and resew two layers of green tulle that is tacked down with green rhinestones. I also sewed/hot glued a green and black flower for my hair. Finally, I bejeweled and ribbon-ed my tambourine that I use in the variation. I completed all my preparations on Sunday night and unfortunately when I walked into the studio Monday morning, I found out the show had been canceled. However, I hope to still perform it in the fall and (if I remember) will post a picture of the final look here at that time : )

St. Patrick's Day Shirt
I asked my daughter if she wanted to have a shirt for St. Patrick's Day and showed her some of the designs I had purchased from Silhouette. When she saw this one there were holes in the font for "PROOF." She asked if I could put rhinestones in those holes. I said, "You bet kiddo!" So here is the final product.

Silhouette Projects
This month I spent some quality time with my Silhouette . . .
I added vinyl to the kid's stuffed animal tubs.
I saw a version of this sign on Pinterest and enjoyed it so much I decided I needed to make one for the kid's bathroom. I painted the canvas blue, used black and white vinyl in various fonts and then did a coat of Mod Podge over the whole thing.
I made several shirts with the heat transfer. Zoe got a black glitter horse (love this glitter heat transfer!) and a rhinestone flower shirt with a big "4" on the back and her name (figure it would make a fun birthday shirt next month!). The golf shirt - this is the front. I made two: one for my dad and one for my father in law. They are a golf team for the church league and they were in first place after the first 3 weeks, which is awesome for them, so I made shirts for them to celebrate. The back says, "First Place (so far)."
