Christmas Hot Pads

This month Vicki had Christmas on her radar.  She knitted some holiday hot pads.

Ice Pack Covers and Knitting Projects

 This month Vicki sewed ice pack covers.  She sewed two that fit smaller ice packs that she had.  She also sewed one that was adjustable to fit around any size ice pack.

Vicki also knitted a few hot pads and a red scarf.  The red scarf was donated to a local project that gives them out on Valentine's Day to kids that have aged out of the foster care system.

Knitting Away

This month Vicki knitted some square patches for Squares for Africa.  

 You leave a tail so that it can be added to other squares that are sent in to make blankets, jackets, etc.

She also knitted more for her supply of washcloths and hot pads.

This month Kelly learned to knit.  She was able to get two Washcloths done in time for a Mother's Day Gift for her mom.

Hot Pads

This month Vicki knitted several hot pads for her church's knitting group donation.

Knitted Scarves

For Christmas Vicki knitted her daughters scarves.  Hard to see from the picture, but they are a made out of a lace type of yarn.

Kitchen Essentials

This month Vicki crocheted a bunch of kitchen scrubbies and knitted a few kitchen dish sink cloths.

Kitchen Necessities

This month Vicki and Gail had a knit-a-long where Cathy and Emily taught them the basics of knitting and crocheting.  They crocheted kitchen scrubbies and hot pads.  Then knitted dish cloths (bonus points if you can read what the red one says:)).  Not too bad for a weekend of work with 2 first timers.  Thanks Cathy and Emily!!
