This month Allison found a bulletin board with a box on the bottom. She is a big St. Louis Cardinals Fan, if you couldn't tell by now:) This is her tribute box to games she has been too. The box is handy for her to place replicas of her tickets and other memorabilia. The bulletin board background is an easy way for her to swap out pictures of her most recent visit to the stadium and game.

Reusable To Do List
This month Allison took an 8x10 frame and put a piece of decorative lined scrapbook paper in it. She used scrapbooking stickers to add the "To Do" title and put start bullet points down the side of the list. This will go up by the front door of her apartment with dry erase markers to add and erase items that she needs to get done.

Anniversary Scrap
This month I decided it was finally time to start an anniversary scrapbook...but given that I had about four hundred some pictures from our first anniversary alone it was a little daunting. So instead of a full on scrapbook, I decided to just add a little scrap touch here and there and make it more about the pictures. Below are some of my favorite pages.
I also am attempting to get a little more organized in my scrapping department and I saw a quick idea on pinterest that I figure I can use until I decide for sure how I want to organize permanently. I cut apart a Kleenex box, wrapped it with duct tape and hot glued on some flowers. Then, I took toilet paper rolls cut to various heights so hold all my pens and make them easier to see.

SMASH
I've thought the SMASH journals looked fun for a while but I'm not much of a journal writer. My oldest started all day, everyday preschool and after a few days of comments and stories, I knew I had a great journal to write each day! It is fun to hear her stories and hopefully this will get me over the journal slump! Plus, the products are quick and easy to use!

Scrapbook Pages
This month Valerie made a "quilted" scrapbook page out of pictures of her old high school marching band t-shirts. She stitched the title of of Marching Band (seen below) to tie into the quit theme. She decided that showcasing her memorabilia this way was easier than making an actual quilt out of all her old t-shirts. Certainly much quicker too:)
Baby Book
This month I created a baby book for two new nieces that are on the way soon! I used Photoshop Elements to make the pages with a purchased digital elements kit by NewlifeDreamsDesigns. There were 20 pages total, here are just a few.

Remodels and Farewells
So I figured the last month of summer was a good one to fit in some
random projects. First on my list was our Before and After House Book.
We bought our house as a fixer-uper and have put in quite a bit of work
so we figured this was a great way to display the change and will be a
nice keepsake of our first big project together for down the road. I
finally got all my photos printed and put the before/after shots for
each room side by side writing what we had changed about each room and
our favorite parts of turning our house into a home.
For my second project I put together a gift basket for my best friend who is going back to school this fall in California. I got some practical and gag gifts and attached ribbons and notes to each item explaining why it was a college essential. She got some good laughs out of it and ensured me that it would be put to good use.

52 Things I Love About You Book
These are the supplies that Allison used. Standard Deck of cards, hole punch, adhesive, stickers, 1 inch metal rings.
Allison printed out a list of 52 things she loves about her man and then cut them into slips of paper and attached each slip to a card.
For the front and back "cover" she covered the Jokers with scrapbook paper and used stickers to embellish the front.
